Construction has started on the house in Rathgar and the brick walls are starting to take shape. While building during the pandemic has been unpredictable, the build so far has been relatively straightforward. We built three sample walls to show the brick with various mortar types and profiles. The clients came on-site to help chose the mortar and profile which best complements the creamy-coloured brick - we went for a pale mortar with a flush finish. The builders have been making great progress and the brickwork is looking very well. Looking forward to seeing the house finished in February 2022.
